I am always looking for ways to get some space and Duchess does not make it easy at times. Thankfully most of the time she does not bother me at all but sometimes things get the best of me.Tarrahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10547926811068847574noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7725790449634143762.post-66912189338959026932014-01-11T08:45:09.799-08:002014-01-11T08:45:09.799-08:00Duchess will let my co-workers know so I understan...Duchess will let my co-workers know so I understand that part too.Tarrahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10547926811068847574noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7725790449634143762.post-80472191243707150612014-01-11T08:34:07.601-08:002014-01-11T08:34:07.601-08:00Tarra this is the MOST common comment from diabeti...Tarra this is the MOST common comment from diabetic alert service dog partners!! We know better (guilt), we remember there were more problems without them (more guilt)..but, hey we're human! Even my own very quiet, very polite and very sweet std poodle, Lily will sometimes get on my nerves. Sometimes I take her for a walk and it somewhat distracts or send her outside for a romp with my other dog...Winter here and not much relief from that, I have even sent both dogs for a drive with my husband (300 down to 100 takes time). We have to be creative to get some "space". A friend will go into the basement, leaving her DAD upstairs (of course that won't work for a whiner nor a barker..hehe)... COPING, such is the T1 life!Minnesota.Annhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11674433647202798758noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7725790449634143762.post-72027883844326646852014-01-10T22:28:57.807-08:002014-01-10T22:28:57.807-08:00Dulce was alerting in class the other day, and wou...Dulce was alerting in class the other day, and wouldn't stop even though I was treating the drop -- the kids started "helping" her, and I got frustrated with ALL of them. So be glad you don't have Duchess AND an audience.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7725790449634143762.post-20164628391004504502014-01-10T19:08:56.436-08:002014-01-10T19:08:56.436-08:00I could not agree more. Thankfully I am sure I will feel differently tomorrow.Tarrahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10547926811068847574noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7725790449634143762.post-64396938753904005592014-01-10T18:37:14.543-08:002014-01-10T18:37:14.543-08:00She sounds like a cross between my Dexcom G4 and A...She sounds like a cross between my Dexcom G4 and Abby the Black Lab. My Dex is always telling me that I'm high or low. Abby is just begging for treats and walks. But they're both constant. Laddiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02212090322026085867noreply@blogger.com
